Indore Police’s effective action against goons, miscreants and anti-social elements continues…..

Indore Police conducted combing patrol late at night, checking about 704 miscreants including goons, miscreants and anti-social elements involved in illegal activities, out of which appropriate legal action was taken on 292.

Gulshan Paruthi | Indore | Date 02 June 2024- To control crime and criminals in the city, under the guidance of Police Commissioner Indore, under the leadership of DCP of all four zones of Indore city, from the intervening night of 01-02 June to morning, the police force along with senior police officers and station in-charges of the concerned area of ​​​​urban Indore conducted combing patrol in all police station areas for surveillance and arrest of goons, miscreants and anti-social elements. During this, Indore Police monitored goons / miscreants and anti-social elements, checking about 704 miscreants, out of which appropriate legal action has been taken.

Under which more than 253 warrants were served for wanted persons in various cases, including 47 summons along with 01 absconding, 78 permanent, 76 arrest warrants and 98 bailable warrants for those absconding for a long time.

During this period, action was taken against people involved in illegal activities.

11 cases of illegal liquor and 03 cases were registered for being found roaming with illegal weapons and legal action was taken against the miscreants. 06 cases were registered against those consuming liquor in public places and action was taken against anti-social elements.

Action was taken against habitual miscreants – 13 under 110 crpc and 22 under 151 crpc, 28 under 107/116 crpc and 2 under 122 crpc, thus total 65 miscreants/anti-social elements were preventively punished/summons were served.

Actions under 185 Motor Vehicle Act were taken against 52 people who were driving vehicles after drinking alcohol.

During this time, more than 314 people including goons/criminals, burglars and criminals under surveillance, as well as many knife attackers, drug peddlers and criminals under district ban and NSA were checked and action was taken.

During this time, many absconding criminals were also caught by the police, against whom legal action is being taken.

During this time, dossiers were also filled by the criminals who were checked/caught, instructing them not to commit any crime.

This type of action against goons/criminals and anti-social elements will continue continuously by Indore Police.
