Economist Dr. Kishore Gawande, educationist and thinker Swapnil Kothari, senior journalist Nimish Kumar Dubey, in-charge of Daily College Business School Sonal Singh Sisodia and Tinu Jain also spoke on this topic. Senior journalist Nimish Kumar Dubey, who came from Delhi, said that the discussion of making India developed took place in the 90s when the words of globalization, liberalization and privatization started passing around. If we keep selling Chinese goods here, then India will never be able to become a country with a 5 trillion dollar economy.

The city’s famous educationist and thinker Swapnil Kothari said that in the coming few years, India will become the third largest economy in the world by pushing behind the economies of Japan and Germany. At present, India’s growth rate is better than the growth rate of America, China, Japan and Germany. India’s growth rate is 7 percent while China’s is 5 percent, America’s is 2 percent, Japan’s is 3 percent and Germany’s is negligible.

Kothari further said that in the year 2030, India’s workforce will be 20 percent of its population. The middle class will be 21 percent. India’s consumption will increase in the coming years. The aspirations of Indians are increasing. The scope of unorganized sectors has also increased, which now has to be converted into organized sectors, which is not that easy.

Mr. Kothari further said that India will have to create big economic zones. There will be more focus on infrastructure, society should not have negative feelings towards those who are wealth creators.

Indore Commissioner and IDA Chairman Deepak Singh said that the most difficult subject is economics. Those who make plans and implement them should have clear intentions. India is a country of diversity and this diversity is the strength of this country. Senior economist Dr. Kishore Gawande also expressed his views.
