Guidelines issued by the M.P. Government prohibit the sale of meat in the open, use of a prescribed number of loudspeakers was followed.

Ujjain Police removed 19 loudspeakers from public and religious places in city/rural police station areas.

Gulshan Paruthi | M.P. | The Madhya Pradesh Government had set a limit on sound amplifying devices and issued guidelines to remove noise pollution devices and loudspeakers from temples/mosques and other public places and prohibited the sale of meat in the open. The Superintendent of Police has directed all the gazetted officers/station in-charges of the district to strictly follow the instructions issued by the M.P. Government.

In this sequence, under the direction and guidance of the administrative and police gazetted officers of the district, the administrative and police team under all the police station areas of the district, in the presence of public representatives and committee managers, established coordination with the temple / mosque committee and checked the loudspeakers installed in the temples / mosques.

While checking all the religious places under all the police station areas of the district, more than 19 sound polluting devices installed in temples and mosques in separate areas were removed. Along with this, the committee manager and members were appealed not to use the loudspeakers again.
