The screw repair of the city roads should be done fast. Efforts should be made so that the complaint related to screw repair is resolved within 24 hours. Instructions to this effect were given by Collector Mrs. Ruchika Chauhan during the inspection of the screw work being done on various roads of the city. She has instructed the Municipal Corporation officials to give daily screw repair reports. Along with this, she also instructed us to make such arrangements so that there is no waterlogging on the city roads for long during the rains. Collector Mrs. Chauhan on Wednesday inspected the roads of Sachin Tendulkar Marg, Alkapuri Tiraha to PM Y Road, New High Court to Vivekanand Square, Chetakpuri to Amkho Tiraha via Maharaj Bada, Hanuman Square, Jiwajiganj, Bahodapur and Shinde’s Cantonment area. On this occasion, Additional Commissioner Municipal Corporation Mr. Munish Sikarwar, Executive Engineer Mr. Pradeep Jadoun and Assistant Engineer Screw Repairing Mr. Haseen Akhtar along with other concerned officers were with her.
During the inspection of the city roads, Collector Mrs. Chauhan stressed that the best possible arrangement for drainage of water should be made at places in the city where waterlogging occurs during rains so that water does not accumulate there for a long time. She also said that on the roads where potholes have formed, screw repair work should be done as a campaign and the potholes should be filled. She stressed promptly attending to complaints related to screw repair.
