• The assurance was given in the meeting of the Indian National Art and Cultural Heritage Trust.
• The meeting was held in the presence of INTACH State Convener Mr. Khandekar and Collector Mrs. Chauhan.
• INTACH Chapter of the Gwalior Division took part in the meeting.

Full support from the administration will be given in the preservation and promotion of heritage sites of historical, archaeological artistic and cultural importance. Whatever problems related to these will be brought forward, they will be resolved with full sincerity. This assurance was given by Divisional Commissioner Mr. Manoj Khatri in the meeting of chapters of the Gwalior Division of Indian National Art and Cultural Heritage Trust (INTACH). In the meeting held here at Tansen Residency on Monday, INTACH State Convener and retired senior officer of Indian Administrative Service Mr. Deepak Khandekar and Collector Mrs. Ruchika Chauhan along with INTACH Gwalior Division conveners and experts were present.

Heritage Site Preservation

Collector Mrs. Chauhan said to prepare proposals for the action plan by setting priority for preserving the historical art and cultural heritage of the Gwalior district. Gwalior district administration will provide full support in materializing this action plan. State Convener of INTACH Mr. Khandekar gave information about the work being done by the Indian National Art and Cultural Heritage Trust in the entire state including the districts of the Gwalior division. Also, emphasis was laid on expanding the activities of INTACH in the districts of the division. He said that the cooperation of the district administration is also necessary in this work. Also, he expressed confidence that the convener of Gwalior, art-culture lovers and subject experts will set an example in the field of preservation and promotion of the historical heritage of the region.

INTACH chapter conveners of Gwalior, Datia, Shivpuri, Morena Orchha and other districts participated in the meeting.
