Free plastic surgery and pap smear test camp for cervical cancer from 12th April.

Damodar Virmal | Indore | The 23rd free plastic surgery camp will be organized at Robert Nursing Home from April 12. This camp will run till 14th April. The camp will be inaugurated at 9.30 am. Divisional Commissioner Mr. Deepak Singh, Collector Mr. Ashish Singh and industrialist and social worker Mr. Girish Matlani will also be present on this occasion

It was told that this camp is being organized with the help of a relief organization. In this camp, operations will be carried out exclusively only for poor and needy patients. There will be operations for congenital physical disorders (cleft lip, palate) and scars left after an accident and deformities caused by burns. Senior surgeon Dr. Prakash Chhajlani will also provide his free services in this camp.

Secretary and Trustee of Robert Nursing Home, Dr. V.S. Yashalha said that for this camp, the operation theater of the hospital and accommodation for the patients will be provided free of cost. Besides, all other arrangements will also be made available for the patients. In this camp, only operations for cleft lip, palate and some operable burn patients will be performed. Patients will be selected for operation by Dr. Prakash Chhajlani himself on April 12, 2024 from 08:00 am to 09:30 am at Robert Nursing Home. Dr. Yashlaha said that in this camp, cervical cancer screening will be done free of cost through VIA PAT smear.
