Fast rectification of electrical fault due to rain water

Indore.  Due to heavy rain and worsening weather in the city on Sunday afternoon, power supply was affected at different times on 26 11 KV feeders out of 530 in Indore city circle. But the fault was rectified quickly even in raining water. The supply to 10 feeders was stopped for a few minutes due to security reasons. At 9 places, trees and big branches falling on the lines created a situation of obstruction in the supply. Wires and cables broken at 3 places. Power supply to most of the affected areas was restored within one hour to a maximum of three hours. During this period, 250 employees and officers were engaged in work.  More than 600 individual complaints were resolved by Fuse of Call (FOC) zone teams. A large branch of a tree fell on the transformer in Sanjana Park of Goyal Nagar zone, due to the falling water, power improvement work was completed and supply was normalized. Similarly, after receiving the complaint of power failure in Azadnagar, Murai Mohalla, the supply was immediately normalized. Even at 7:30 in the night, 100 employees were busy in line and supply improvement work.
