Eid Fitr celebrated with prayers for peace in the city.

Tahir Kamaal Siddiqui | Indore | Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated with joy and warmth by the Muslim community. People of Muslim community arrived in large numbers at Sadar Bazar Eidgah and Chhawni Eidgah to offer Eid prayers. There are two major Eidgahs in the city, where the main Eid prayers were offered.

City Qazi Ishrat Ali offered Eid prayers at Sadar Bazar Eidgah and City Qazi Abul Rehan Farooqui Saheb offered Eid prayers at Chhawani Eidgah located in Chhoti Gwal Toli. Before the prayers, Qazi Rehan Farooqui, in his message to the Muslim community, said that in Islam, those who serve humanity are liked. He said, as long as you have the passion to serve humanity, remain service-oriented, promote goodness and help the society. As long as you promote goodness, you will remain a great person. He said that we should understand our responsibility to create an atmosphere of love and humanity in the country. Qazi Rehan Farooqui prayed for the welfare of humanity and peace and prosperity in the country.

Sadar Syed Shahid Ali of Anjuman Islahul Muslimeen said that city Qazi Abul Rehan Farooqui has been offering Eid prayers at the Eidgah located in Chhoti Gwal Toli since 1999. Muslim community gathered in large numbers at Eidgah. Namaz was offered till Madhumilan intersection. Anjuman Islahul Muslimeen Secretary Majeed Hussain Fridgewala thanked the district administration, police officers, traffic police, municipal corporation and city security committee members for their significant contribution in the arrangements.
