Gwalior Pavan Paruthi dated 13.02.2024. Today, in the Police Control Room Auditorium, Gwalior, a review meeting was held by Deputy Inspector General of Police, Gwalior Range, Mrs. Krishnaveni Deshavtu, BHP, with all the gazetted police officers of Gwalior district and police station in-charges of the city regarding the pending property related crimes. In the meeting and Superintendent of Police Gwalior Mr. Rajesh Singh Chandel, BHP, Additional. Superintendent of Police (East/Crime/Traffic) Shri Hrishikesh Meena, BHP, Addl. Superintendent of Police North Shri Shiaz KM, BHPUS, Att. Superintendent of Police Rural Shri Niranjan Sharma, Att. Superintendent of Police Central Shri Akhilesh Renwal, Atty. Superintendent of Police West Shri Gajendra Singh Vardhaman, all CSP and SDM officers and all police station in-charges of the city were present.

In the meeting, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Gwalior Range reviewed the property related crimes pending in the police stations of the district, police station wise. During the review, DIG Gwalior directed the present police officers to quickly trace the absconding accused in the crimes of robbery, embezzlement, theft and vehicle theft and arrest them along with the stolen goods. In the meeting, he said that police station in-charges should take even the smallest incidents seriously because only by preventing small crimes, serious crimes can be prevented. He gave strict instructions to the police officers present in the meeting that in case of serious crimes, gazetted police officers will immediately reach the spot and take action and will go to the police stations every day to brief the force. Apart from this, the station in-charge will brief the force going for night patrolling every day before sending them out. In the meeting, DIG Gwalior said that all police station in-charges should pay special attention to solving old pending crimes by activating the informer system and CSP/SDOP should also visit their subordinate police stations and make efforts to solve the pending crimes. In the meeting, all police station in-charges were instructed to make special efforts to prevent robbery, vandalism and vehicle theft in their respective areas.

In the meeting, Superintendent of Police Gwalior told all the police station in-charges that they will update the information about the miscreants under surveillance in their respective areas and will launch a campaign to arrest the absconding miscreants. He said that every day police station in-charges should conduct effective vehicle checking in their respective areas and take challan action against two-wheeler and four-wheeler vehicles without number plates. Apart from this, action should also be taken against those driving with three passengers and with their mouth tied. In the meeting, he said that if any type of crime occurs, its information should be given to senior police officers and legal action should be taken. Gazetted officers should hold daily meetings with their subordinate police officers to get the pending crimes solved. Police station in-charges should prepare the goonda file of such miscreants who continuously commit crimes.
