Today on Sunday, dated 25.08.2024, *Director General of Police, Madhya Pradesh, Shri Sudhir Kumar Saxena (Bapu Se)- did a surprise inspection of Maharajpura police station in Gwalior city. During the inspection, DGP Sir closely inspected the daily diary, makhana, lockup, investigation diary, summons-warrant register, crime register, women help desk, CCTNS system etc. in the police station and discussed with the police officers and took information from the police station investigators about the practical problems faced during the investigation and also planted a sapling in the police station premises under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign. On this occasion, Inspector General of Police Gwalior Zone Shri Arvind Kumar Saxena (IPS), Superintendent of Police Gwalior Shri Dharamvir Singh (IPS), Additional Superintendent of Police (East/Traffic/Crime) Shri Shiaz K.M. (IPS) and ASP Crime Shri Ayush Gupta (IPS), CSP Maharajpura Shri Nagendra Singh Sikarwar and Police Station Incharge Maharajpura and police staff were present.

During the surprise inspection of Maharajpura police station by the Director General of Police, the lock-up was checked and after that the arrangement of CCTV cameras installed in the police station was observed. Thereafter, the Director General of Police inspected the investigating room of the police station and took detailed information regarding the action being taken by the Women Help Desk and saw the record maintenance and obtained information regarding the action being taken by CCTNS in the police station. The Director General of Police discussed the new law with the investigators present in the police station and obtained information about the problems that may arise. On this occasion, DGP also obtained information regarding the e-process of summons warrant and directed for its effective implementation. During the surprise inspection of the police station, DGP also observed the police station premises and building and instructed the officers to maintain better arrangements for the complainants coming to the police station. During the surprise inspection, DGP observed the pending crimes in the police station and instructed to remove them quickly and keep the records of the police station correct and organized.

He took information from the investigators about the e-evidence app and obtained information about the problems being faced in the process of changing the new law BNS (Indian Civil Defense Code) from IPC (Indian Penal Code) and also obtained information from the investigators about the problems faced in the process of seizure in the new law. During the surprise inspection, DGP also saw the latest status of online FIR on CCTNS and asked the investigators to enter the investigation in the computer themselves. DGP carefully listened to the practical problems of the officers and employees present in the police station. After that, DGP Sir reviewed the work after having a detailed discussion with the senior police officers present. After the surprise inspection of the police station, DGP Sir planted a tree in the premises of Maharajpura police station under the campaign ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ and inspired everyone to plant trees.
