Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav hoisted the flag and took the salute of the parade at the state-level Independence Day function organized at the local Lal Parade Ground on August 15. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inspected the parade riding on a decorated chariot. DGP Sudhir Saxena was with him. After the parade, a celebratory fire was fired. Gallantry medals were distributed at the function. Rajgarh Superintendent of Police Aditya Mishra was given the bravery medal. In his address, the Chief Minister mentioned the development journey of Madhya Pradesh. He said that the state government is working on four missions as per the Prime Minister. Our goal is the development of the poor and employment to the youth. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also mentioned the amount given to the workers of Indore’s Hukumchand Mill and Indore Ujjain Metro in his address. On this occasion, the CM said that the budget of MP will be doubled in the next five years.
Key points of the Chief Minister’s address:
- Yuva Shakti, Garib Kalyan, Kisan Kalyan and Nari Shaktikaran Mission are being implemented in MP from November 1.
- The aim of the MP government is that the administration should be people-oriented. Citizens should become partners in development and social harmony.
- The schemes for the welfare of the poor should reach the last person in the state. The MP government is committed to making such a system.
- The target has been set to double the budget of MP in the next 5 years. The government is also working in this direction.
- Madhya Pradesh is among the fast-growing states achieving the Sustainable Development Goal in the Economic Survey of the Central Government.
- The Central Government has mentioned the Bio CNG plant of Indore city in its Economic Survey.
- The Madhya Pradesh government is determined to provide basic facilities to the citizens.
- To improve the law and order situation in Madhya Pradesh, the boundaries of 627 police stations have been re-fixed.
- More than 60 industrial units are being set up in Madhya Pradesh for Rs 10 thousand crore. Through these, more than 17 thousand youth will get employment opportunities.
- The country’s first traditional art gurukul will be started in Khajuraho.
- The workers of the state will be given Rs 40 thousand to buy e-scooters.
- Digital universities will be started in the state to promote technical education.
- An amount of Rs 250 crore will be spent on Pashu Aahar Yojana.
- Five thousand km long roads will be built in the state. The roads will also be renovated.
The main function was telecasted live on Doordarshan Madhya Pradesh. Ministers and collectors were the chief guests at the main function held in the districts and they read out the message of the Chief Minister. Police and Home Guard jawans were also honored at the main function in Bhopal. Assistant Police Commissioner Bhopal Mayur Khandelwal led the main parade. 17 contingents including the police band took part in the ceremonial parade.
