- People of the district benefited by reaching the camp in large numbers
Keeping in view the health services of common people, pregnant mothers, and malnourished children, as per the instructions of Commissioner Indore Deepak Singh, Cabinet Minister Ms. Nirmala Bhuria and Collector Neha Meena inaugurated the free mega health camp at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam (UIT) College, Gadwada/Umri Jhabua by cutting the ribbon and lighting the lamp on the statue of Maa Saraswati ji. Cabinet Minister Women and Child Development Department Ms. Nirmala Bhuria, Collector Neha Meena, and Chief Executive Officer District Panchayat inspected the camp and discussed with the people who came to the camp from the rural areas of the district and enquired about their health.
The exhibition organized by the AYUSH Department, Social Justice, and Disabled Empowerment Department, and Brahmakumaris in the camp was observed and praised. In the camp, treatment was done by Ayurvedic, Homeopathy, and Unani methods by subject experts of the AYUSH department. In which diseases related to skin diseases, Vata diseases, pediatrics, gynecological diseases, malnutrition-related diseases, diseases of pregnant women, skin diseases, Vata diseases, pediatrics, and gynecological diseases were treated. During this, Minister Ms. Bhuria, Collector and Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat distributed saplings to the villagers for planting “One tree in the name of mother” while making them aware of the environment. In this camp, renowned doctors of MGM College Indore, Index Medical College Indore, Choithram Netralaya Indore, Ayush Mahavidyalaya Indore, Indore Cancer Foundation Indore, Vishesh Jupiter Hospital Indore, Medanta Hospital Indore, Choithram Hospital Indore, Care CHL Hospital Indore, LNCT Medical College Indore provided consultation for bone diseases, medicine, surgery, heart diseases, dentistry, organ transplant, Ayurveda doctor, cancer disease, mental disease, respiratory/asthma disease, stomach disease, eye disease, pediatrics, gynecologist, IVF, ENT, audiometry and speech therapy, urology (urology related), physiotherapy, plastic surgery, homeopathic doctor and Ayurveda. Also, sonography, ECG, blood test, X-ray, and other tests were done. Referral patients were provided free health services in government and private hospitals (government-recognized) under the Ayushman Bharat program. Ayushman Card and Abha ID were also made in this camp.
In this camp, disability certificates were also issued by the Medical Board to the disabled as per their eligibility. Administrative officers, employees, and common people also donated blood at the campsite. A large number of people from the rural areas of the district took advantage of this camp.
Social organizations Rotary Meghnagar and Arogya Sangam also supported the camp.
