Gwalior – This corrupt system has not improved even on the first day of the new English New Year 2024. Today, on the first day of the year, the bribe-taking Patwari has been trapped by the Lokayukta police. The accused, Patwari, was taking a bribe of Rs 5,000 in exchange for a name transfer. Lokayukta SP Rameshwar Singh Yadav said that the action is going on.
According to the information, Ravi, son of Vishambhar Singh, age 27, a resident of village Bishbari post Suhans tehsil, Gohad district, Bhind, had contacted Patwari Pankaj Khargo, Halka number one of Gohad, to transfer the land in his grandmother’s name. Patwari Khargo had demanded a bribe in exchange for a name transfer.
The complainant complained about this to the Gwalior Lokayukta Police. After this, when today a bribe amount of Rs. 5 thousand was given to Patwari Pankaj Khargo, the Lokayukta police caught him red-handed. Patwari had taken the bribe amount in his hand and kept it near the gear box of his car, where the bribe amount was recovered.
Vinod Singh Kushwaha, DSP, Kavindra Singh Inspector, Ranilata Namdev,and Brijmohan Narwariya played a notable role in catching the accused Patwari for taking a bribe.
