BJP-supported candidate Parvati Devi became Dhanpatganj block pramukh. After the counting of votes, BJP got 42 votes and SP candidate Usha Singh got 39 votes. There is a festive atmosphere among Bharatiya Janata Party workers. Former minister Vinod Singh had appealed for support in favor of the BJP candidate. The police had tightened the noose and made tight security arrangements. Bharatiya Janata Party won the by-election. With the Bhadra family losing the post of Block Pramukh, the spell of the Bhadra family in the district has been broken. Former minister, Sultanpur MLA Vinod Singh, who is currently called the Chanakya of district politics, has contributed a lot to this. As soon as the Block Pramukh by-election was announced, he took the reins of the election in his hands, this election result is the outcome of that. After defeating the Bhadra family in the elections of Lok Sabha, Vidhan Sabha, and District Panchayat President, the Bhadra family has lost the only Block Pramukh seat left, and now there is no public post left in the Bhadra family.
