Awareness campaign continues to make the city rabies free and free from dog bites.

Anti rabies vaccination campaign will start from April 14.

Damodar Virmal | Indore | As per the instructions of Commissioner Shri Shivam Verma, an awareness campaign is being run to make Indore city a rabies free city and to free the city from dog bites. Under the free campaign, anti-rabies vaccination campaign will be conducted for all stray and pet dogs of the city from April 14, 2024.

According to the instructions of Commissioner Shri Shivam Verma, to make the city a rabies free city and to get rid of dog bites, what should the citizens of Zone No. 13, Ward No. 80 Buddha Nagar area do to avoid dog bites and what should they do immediately in case of their bites and how to prevent it. Necessary information was given to the residents in this regard. For the prevention and protection of dog bites, representatives of the NGO Basics told the migrants that they should not allow their children to roam alone in gardens or other places where there is a danger from dogs.

Along with this, the residents were told how to cure the disease called rabies which is caused by the poison spread by dog bite. Death due to it can be prevented by vaccination. During this time, information regarding rabies vaccination was given by the NGO organization in Buddha Nagar by going door-to-door and visiting public places.
