Along with health services, security arrangements should also be strong in JAH group – Collector Mrs. Chauhan.

The collector, SP and Corporation Commissioner reached to inspect JAH group at night.

In all the hospitals of JAH group including the thousand bed hospital, security arrangements should be strengthened along with health facilities. Adequate CCTV cameras should be installed in the hospital premises and regular security audit should also be done. Collector Mrs. Ruchika Chauhan gave instructions to the management of JAH hospital group. Mrs. Chauhan had reached to inspect the hospitals of JAH group on Friday night along with Superintendent of Police Mr. Dharamveer Singh, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Aman Vaishnav, Additional Commissioner Municipal Corporation Mr. Munish Sikarwar and SDM Mr. Vinod Singh. On this occasion, Dean of GR Medical College Dr. RKS Dhakad and other doctors were present. Collector Mrs. Chauhan said that unnecessary movement of people in the hospital premises should be controlled at night. For this, instead of opening all the entry gates of the premises at night, a limited number of gates should be kept open. Guards should also be posted at the gate.

The Collector and SP also reviewed the security of the hostels of the medical college. They asked to put up shine boards saying “banned for outsiders” on the way to the hostel. During the discussion, the medical students found the arrangements satisfactory.

The Collector Mrs. Chauhan also asked the attendants to issue identity cards as far as possible, so that the movement of unauthorized people can be stopped. She also said that along with the security arrangements, the light system, clean toilets and other basic facilities should also be better. The Collector and SP also asked to display information about the Doctor Protection Act in the hospital premises.
