Advanced Life Support and Cardio Pulmonary Cerebral Resuscitation Workshop was organized at Government Medical College Datia. In this workshop, 40 medical postgraduate students from different faculties were trained to save the lives of people who have suddenly fainted in emergencies and whose breathing or heartbeat has stopped, by giving advanced life support on artificial mannequins for their revival.

Dr. Sandeep Sahu and Shri Ram Naresh Yadav from the National level faculty at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science Lucknow attended the workshop for training. Postgraduate students of Government Medical College attended this workshop and received training to provide emergency medical services, which included giving mouth-to-mouth breathing in case of sudden stoppage of breathing or heartbeat of a person, bringing back heartbeat by chest compression, method of giving breathing by inserting a tube in the windpipe, emergency medical facilities like defibrillation.
During the training, Dr. Surendra Kumar Baudh, Dr. Manish Ajmeriya, Dr. Puneet Agarwal, Dr. Sumit Kumar, etc. were present in the inaugural session.
Dean Dr. Deepak Singh Marawi congratulated the successful organization of the workshop and hoped that after the training, the doctors would be able to provide emergency services to needy patients with more expertise. In the end, the workshop coordinator and head of the pediatrics department Dr. Rajesh Gupta thanked everyone for their cooperation in organizing the workshop successfully.
