As per the instructions of National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) New Delhi and Bihar State Legal Services Authority (BALSA) Patna, under the guidance of District Legal Services Authority (DILSA) Lakhisarai Chairman District and Sessions Judge Ajay Kumar Sharma and Secretary cum Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Raju Kumar, a legal awareness camp on the subject of “National Lok Adalat” was organized in the auditorium of Chanan Block Office Chanan of the district, which was chaired by Block Development Officer Priya Kumari and conducted by Zonal Officer Ravi Prasad’s office representative clerk Santosh Kumar.
In her address, Block Development Officer Priya Kumari said that the National Legal Services Authority has been formed to provide free and competent legal services to the weaker sections of the society. Under which National Lok Adalat is working. We should take maximum benefit of it. In Lok Adalat, disputes are settled with the consent of both parties in which no party loses. Chief speaker Authority’s retainer advocate Sitesh Sudhanshu said that on 14th September, the third National Lok Adalat of the year has been decided to be held in Civil Court Complex, Lakhisarai where you can get your negotiable case settled. National Lok Adalat is a big form of Panchayat where the solution to the problem is possible only with the consent of both parties. He also said that the District Legal Services Authority operates a Samadhan Kendra where you can get proper solutions to your problems free of cost. At the same time, if you are a poor person and are not able to keep a lawyer, then the District Legal Services Authority provides free learned advocates through whom you can get easy and cheap justice by getting your case properly advocated. National Lok Adalat works under the Justice Sabke Dwar scheme.
In the awareness camp, Panchayat Samiti Shivnandan Bin Paralegal Volunteer Aarti Kumari Block Office Head Clerk Shambhu Kumar Singh, villager Neeraj Kumar, Badri Mahato, Bajrangi Sah, Ram Lakhan Yadav, Baudhuraam, Jogi Yadav, Sanjeev Kumar, Rajkumar, Ramvriksh Bin hundreds of people were present who spoke about coming forward for the wide publicity of the National Lok Adalat.
