Dharna’s demonstration was done at the district headquarters in support of 21-point demands.

Bihar Raksha Vahini Swayamsevak Sangh branch Lakhisarai organized a one-day dharna demonstration at the collectorate regarding the pending 21-point demands. On this occasion, the secretary of the Sangh, Sanjay Kumar Dubey, said that the allowance of the state’s home guards was increased in the year 2017. In these eight years, the government has increased the salary and facilities of its other employees considerably, but the home guards have been deprived of it. He said that the home guards work at par with the police. Despite the Supreme Court order, the home guards are still not getting equal salaries and equal facilities for equal work. The home guards have been given uniforms for two years, while the Bihar Police are being given uniforms every year, which is the indifferent attitude of the Bihar government. If the government does not fulfill the 21-point demands pending for years, then the Home Guard Vahini will intensify the movement.
