Thandla 31st death anniversary of nationalist saint Mahant Naga Dev Narayandasji Nagaji Maharaj. In the premises of the Ashta Hanuman Ji ancient stepwell temple, in the dignified presence of the head Mahant of the temple, Shri Narayan Dasji Maharaj, the Mahants of the famous temples of Dungranchal, including Shri Laxminarayan Temple Gaushala from Dahod district of Gujarat, along with the Mahant of Khawasa Gram Panchayat Tejpura Gaushala, Shri Madhavdas Mahant, Amitdas Sant, Laxmandas Sant, Buwaneshwar Giri Sant, Ramgiri Mahant Kangra (Himachal) State, Peepalkhuta Mahant representative Chintamani Maharaj, Badridas Maharaj Meghnagar, Balakdas Maharaj Chartodi, Sukhram Maharaj Shanti Ashram, Laxmandas Maharaj Rambhapur, Ramdas Maharaj Chenpuri, Devidas Maharaj Dulha Khedi, Balpuridas Maharaj, Sevakdas Maharaj Roopgarh, Pandit Jitendra Pathak, along with a large number of Mahants and disciples of Nagaji’s followers, participated. At the event, Mahant Narayandas Maharaj of Ashta Hanuman Temple and Ashta Hanuman Temple Trust President Ashok ‘Aroda’, Vice President Vitthal Sharma, Secretary Tulsi Mehta Goraksha, State General Secretary Aaja Morcha, State Executive Member Councilor Raju Dhanak, Advocate Javsingh Parmar, Senior Journalist Omprakash Bhatt, Chhotu Soni Kailash Acharya, Bhagwan Lal Sharma along with all the devotees worshipped the Paduka of Nagaji Maharaj in the temple premises and offered floral tribute to his statue and performed the Aarti of Nagaji Maharaj. During this, temple trustees Ashok Arora, Vitthal Sharma, Raju Dhanak, Tulsiram Mehta, Ganraj Acharya, Dilip Panchal, Mahesh Nagar, etc. welcomed all the Mahants by giving them flower garlands and gifts.
A large number of devotees including Om Prakash Bhatt, Vishwas Soni, Jagmohan Singh Rathore, Bunty Damor, Councilor Jagdish, Prajapati Jitendra Rathore, Councilor Kannu Morya, Ashish Soni, Vineet Sharma, Rakesh Soni, Sureshchandra Shukla, Jitendra Kothari, Neeraj Bhatt, Jayantilal Panchal, Pandit Kailash Acharya, Pandit Praveen Bhatt, Vini Acharya, Mukesh Bhatt, Mukesh Panchal, Chetan Acharya, Pankaj Chauhan, Girdhari Rathore, senior journalist Pawan Nahar, Akshay Bhatt, Atmaram Sharma, Samkit Talera, Manish Ahirwar were present in the program, and a day before, the Lord Pashupatinath Shiv Parivar idol consecration was completed at the Ashta Hanumanji Temple.

It is noteworthy that in this temple, the idols of Lord Miraculous Sankat Mochan Hanumanji Maharaj, Radhe Krishna, Santoshi Mata, Pashupat, Nath Ganpati, Ambe Mata, Batuk Bhairav, Vishwakarmaji, Mahant Naga Devnar Maharaj are installed.
Many social and religious events in the city start from the temple itself. And daily Bhajan Kirtan is organized by the Yuva Mitra Mandal. In the program, hundreds of devotees took the religious benefit of Maha Aarti Mahaprasad.
