MLA Pankaj Singh held a meeting with the electricity department officials today to prepare for the improvement of the dilapidated condition of electricity in the city after the rains and also on how to increase transformers in sectors with high loads. The Chief Engineer of the Electricity Department and senior officers of the Noida Division were present at this meeting.
Emphasis was mainly laid on making the power supply smooth, replacing old and dilapidated electricity poles and wires in villages, residential and industrial areas. Also, a proposal was made to increase the number of transformers where the electricity demand is high. The plan for electrification in new colonies was also a major topic of discussion.
MLA Pankaj Singh directed the Electricity Department to prepare a detailed plan to solve these problems as soon as possible and start implementing it. He said the problem of power cuts and voltage in the city will be solved. This scheme will provide relief to the common citizens, and the industrial sector will also benefit.
