He listed his priorities in the first departmental introduction meeting. Rajiv Nayan Giri was made the new Chief Medical Officer, i.e. CMO of Fatehpur and he took charge here on Sunday. He was transferred here from Sitapur. He took over the charge from the in-charge CMO Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmed and with this, he also listed his priorities in the first departmental introduction meeting. To deal with public problems, he talked about public meetings and also said that if someone is in need, he can meet him at any time. In the introduction meeting, he also reviewed the health-related facilities of the district and told the departmental officials that all the beneficiary-oriented schemes being run in the district will be reviewed properly and regular progress reports will also be taken. Also, raids will be conducted anytime, day or night, to increase the number of patients admitted to CHC and PHC and to ensure that emergency services are operated effectively. Wherever deficiencies are seen, it will be his priority to remove them. He also said that the doctors will have to stay at their place of posting. Given the rainy season, he also stressed the adequate availability of anti-Dhanek Benam injections, which he said should be arranged within twenty-four hours. Dr. Giri expressed concern over the slow pace of the TB control campaign and also gave a strict warning to remove this slowness. Additional CMO Ishtiaq Ahmed, District Tuberculosis Control Officer Shahabuddin Mangala Prasad, etc. were also present in the meeting.
