Gopal Kiran Samaj Seva Sanstha organized an international research seminar and award ceremony in Shimla‘s Gaiety Theatre Conference Hall. The program began with the reading of the Preamble of the Constitution. The program was presided over by Shriprakash Singh Nimraje. Giving information about the activities of his organization, he said that social justice and civic action is the Gopal Kiran Samaj Seva Sanstha family, which talks about giving people a platform to come together to share their views on various aspects of life and issues, whether it is about poverty alleviation, marginalization, communal issues, women empowerment, education, health, disability, climate change, etc. The right of Swarnim Sanskar has been given to all artists to recognize, encourage, celebrate, and inspire the actions of citizens for social justice. We need to identify the unsung heroes of real life who believe that ‘the light of enlightenment is better than cursing the darkness’ and have made extra efforts to “bring the change they want to see in this world”. The book ‘Ambedkarwadi Sahitya-Ek Chintan, Hamare Rishtey’ was released on this occasion. Shri Suryakant Sharma inaugurated the program. The chief guest of the program was Ashok Goyal (IPS), Inspector General of Police, special guest Dr. Pratibha Prasad, Associate Professor, West Bengal, Chandana Jain (Professor and Student Council Director, Bangalore), Anantaram Kashyap (Vice President Janpad Panchayat) Darbha, Bastar. The main speaker of the program was Dr. B.P. Ashok (IPS). In the first lecture session of the program, the keynote speaker on financial planning and financial empowerment Suryakant Sharma (Senior Advisor AMFI and former DGM SEBI) while addressing the participants from various states of India said that being poor is not a curse. You can get rid of poverty through efficient financial management. You can move forward on the path of progress by taking advantage of various government schemes. Detailed information was given about mutual funds.

The chief guest of the program Ashok Goyal (IPS) said that social welfare organizations have an important role in social awareness. All of you have made an incomparable contribution to the progress of the nation. All should focus on tree plantation. Computer knowledge should reach the masses. In today’s time, it is necessary to learn and teach computers.

The keynote speaker on climate change Dr. B.P. Ashok (IPS) said that all people should resolve to gift each other a plant. Measures will have to be taken to avoid the ill effects of climate change. Water conservation will have to be done. As many trees as possible will have to be planted. Special guest Anantaram Kashyap, District Vice President of Vastar said that I am always ready to help people. There have been many social changes in our area. My knowledge increased by attending today’s program. Film actor Arif Shahdoli, who was awarded the Fatima Sheikh Education Icon Award, said while addressing the program that society has given us a lot and we should give back to society. We should help as much as we can according to our capacity. The program was formally inaugurated with the welcome song of Harinath Shukla Hari, a teacher, and litterateur who had come from Sultanpur, UP, and a ghazal dedicated to the institution, “Gopal Kiran institution is great, it has a contribution in life in all aspects”. The solo theatrical presentation of Bharat Ratna, Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, directed and written by Arif Shahdoli, “Gyan Ki Mashal” by Mata Prasad Shakya ji who had come from Jhansi, captivated everyone. People applauded Suresh Chandra Arya for his folk dance presentation. The coordinator of the program, Mrs. Sunita Srivastava ji, expressed her happiness on the outline and successful conclusion of the historical event and thanked all the visitors and the organizing committee from the heart. Varsha Kumari, a researcher from Bihar, presented her research on the poet Sarahapa.
