After voting in the Lok Sabha elections, now everyone is waiting for the results.

Counting of 5728 postal ballots of Jhabua Ratlam parliamentary constituency will be done in Jhabua, all preparations for counting will be completed, results will be out by noon.

Counting of votes will be done on June 4.

There are 8 assembly constituencies under Ratlam-Jhabua parliamentary seat.

Bureau Chief Rahim Sherani Hindustani | Ratlam/Jhabua | Here, the curtain will be raised on June 4 on the results of the election of Ratlam-Jhabua parliamentary constituency. There are 8 assembly constituencies under the parliamentary seat. It includes Jhabua, Alirajpur, Jobat, Thandla, Petlawad, Ratlam Rural, Ratlam City and Sailana. In all the three districts, separate counting of votes will be done assembly wise. Counting of votes of three assembly constituencies Jhabua, Thandla and Petlawad coming under Jhabua district will be done in Polytechnic College Jhabua from 8 am. Postal ballots will be counted for the first half an hour, then the counting of votes recorded in EVMs will start. The special thing is that the counting of 5728 postal ballots of the entire Lok Sabha constituency will be done in Jhabua.

Since the returning officer is Jhabua collector, the phase-wise results from Alirajpur and Ratlam districts will be sent to Jhabua collector. He will announce the results of Jhabua-Ratlam parliamentary constituency. He will also hand over the certificate to the winning candidate.

This is how the counting of votes will go on.

The counting of votes will start from 8 am on June 4.

Postal ballots will be counted in the first half an hour. After this, counting of EVMs will start from around 8.30 am. Arrangements have been made in separate halls for the counting of votes of all three assembly constituencies. Since the counting of postal ballots of the entire parliamentary constituency will be done in Jhabua, a total of 10 separate tables will be set up for this and the counting will be completed in 2 rounds. At the same time, two tables will be set up for counting of ETPB and the counting will be completed in two rounds. The returning officer will be able to declare the election result only when the observers allow it. Official video recording of the entire counting will be done. After counting of each round, an announcement will be made outside through a loud speaker. District Election Officer and Collector Neha Meena said that on the day of counting, tables will be allotted only after randomization at 5 am. The strong room will be opened at 7 am. EVMs will be taken out of the strong room only in the presence of all the candidates or their polling agents.

During this time, observers and candidates will be present with the returning officer.

How many rounds will be counted for which assembly ?

1. Jhabua Assembly :-
The total number of polling stations is 358. 21 tables will be set up for counting and the counting work will be completed in 17 rounds.

2. Thandla Assembly :-
The total number of polling stations is 304. 19 tables will be set up for counting and the counting work will be completed in 16 rounds.

3. Petlawad Assembly :-
The total number of polling stations is 321. 21 tables will be set up for counting and counting will be completed in 15 rounds.

The people counting will be identified by the colour code for Ratlam city and rural areas. This time also the election department has done colour coding for uninterrupted counting. In this, a different colour has been prescribed for each assembly. The employees engaged in different tasks assembly wise will wear identity cards, badges, ribbons of the same colour, so that they can be identified from a distance.

Yellow for Ratlam city,
Sky blue for Sailana,
Blue for Javra,
Orange for Alot and red colour has been prescribed for other employees.

Counting facts: More than 900 employees deployed on duty.

More than 900 staff will be engaged in counting of votes, security and other work.

14 tables have been set up in the counting room of each assembly. In this, EVM votes will be counted round wise.

Ratlam Rural result will come first while Javra result will come last.

Carrying mobile and other material in the counting center will be prohibited.

The counting person will enter from the main gate of the counting hall while the counting agent will enter from the other gate.

The results will be announced by the Returning Officer of the respective assembly.

Beware, mobile or other electronic devices will not be allowed.

Only the vehicle of the pass holder will be allowed entry from the main gate of the Polytechnic College campus. Persons entering the counting place will be prohibited from carrying mobile, vehicle keys or any other electronic device. It will have to be deposited outside. From where a token will be given. While returning, mobile, vehicle keys or other devices will be returned through this token only.
