Students of Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya created Guinness World Records

Gwalior Pavan Paruthi:- The golden jubilee edition of Khajuraho Dance Festival was grandly inaugurated on 20th February. On this occasion, under the leadership of Scindia Girls School Principal Mrs. Nishi Mishra, 18 girl students of the school namely Ananya Gurjar, Ditya Rungta, Satakshi Aggarwal, Nandani Vats, Vanya Shah, Vanya Poglia, Thia Hilluwala, Sakshi Yadav, Vanya Garg, Reva Tripathi, Avika Pandey. ,Manasvi Mudgal, Himanshi Chamadia, Adya Jain, Shanaya Hiranandani, Radhya Goyal, Kriti Agarwal, Aparna Singh Sengar registered their names in the Guinness World Records during this Kathak Kumbh Khajuraho. School dance choreographer Mrs. Kavita Pillai also participated in this program.

State Chief Minister Mohan Yadav was present on this occasion. In this Kathak Kumbh, under the choreography of famous dance guru Shri Rajendra Gangani, 1484 participants from various prestigious institutes including Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, amidst the ancient temples of Khajuraho, together performed a 20-minute mesmerizing dance on Raga Basant. Annie Troppo, a Guinness World Records official, praised the synchronization and choreography, saying, “To break the record, participants were required to dance for more than 5 minutes. Today’s performance exceeded 60 minutes.

The performance ended with the sound of Ghunghrus and “Shanknaad” and the participants, holding burning lamps, paid homage to Lord Nataraja, the god of dance. It was a golden opportunity for the students of Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya. The students were honored with certificates. School Principal Mrs. Nishi Mishra wished for the bright future of the girl students. Career counselor of Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya Urvashi Pandey and Shubhankshi were also present in this program.
