Cyber Crime Wing of Crime Branch took prompt action and got Rs 78 thousand returned from the complaint

Gwalior Pavan Paruthi 19.02.2023. Applicant Sandeep Yadav gave a complaint application to Superintendent of Police, Gwalior Shri Rajesh Singh Chandel, BHP that he has been defrauded of Rs 78000/- from his Ujjwal Credit Card due to which his civil liability is getting spoiled. Taking the said complaint seriously, Superintendent of Police Gwalior directed Additional Superintendent of Police Gwalior City (East/Crime) Mr. Hrishikesh Meena, BHPUS, to take action on the said complaint through the cyber crime team.

In compliance with the instructions of senior officers, under the able guidance of DSP Crime Mr. Nagendra Singh Sikarwar, the cyber crime team was deployed by police station in-charge crime Mr. Ajay Pawar and cyber crime wing inspector Mr. Rajesh Tomar for quick action on the said application. When investigated by the cyber crime team, it was found that the complainant had not done any transaction from his Ujjwal card, but two AC finance had been done from his credit card, which had not been done by the complainant. When the cyber team collected information regarding the above financed AC, it was found that both the above ACs were financed from an electric shop located in Guna. From which a team was sent to Guna under the leadership of Inspector Rajesh Tomar. When the cyber team reached the electric shop located in Guna and interrogated the shopkeeper present there regarding the financed AC, he told that due to the mistake of the former Deputy Sales Manager of Home Credit, these ACs were financed, whereas these ACs were not sold. The Cyber Police team got the AC loan financed from the complainant’s credit card repaid Rs 78,000 and returned it to the complainant. The complainant expressed his gratitude to the cyber crime team and thanked the Gwalior police team.
