Nagpur Tahir Kamaal Siddiqui Indian Minority Foundation (IMF), Delhi in collaboration with Hazrat Baba Tajuddin Trust, Nagpur and Chishti Foundation – Ajmer Sharif presented ‘Nagpur Sadbhavna Summit – Ek Bharat – Shreshtha Bharat’. The event, featuring eminent leaders and spiritual stalwarts, aims to promote peace, unity and inclusivity across diverse communities. Rajya Sabha MP and IMF convener Satnam Singh Sandhu presided over the program as the chief guest. In his address, he stressed the importance of promoting global peace and cooperation, drawing parallels with international gatherings such as the G-20 summit. “Such goodwill summits provide a platform to explore ways to promote peace and harmony among all countries,” he said.

Haji Syed Salman Chishti, the ruler of Dargah Ajmer Sharif and president of Chishti Foundation, was honored on the stage. Sufi Salman Chishti stressed the importance of spreading the message of peace and service to humanity while considering the timeless wisdom of Sufi teachings. He commented, “The legacy of Sufi saints and dargahs across India passed down through generations inspires us to promote harmony and compassion.” He also praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying, “The world is looking towards India and the global recognition of India’s leadership under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a testament to his visionary vision.” The Nagpur Goodwill Summit took place in the backdrop of the holy shrine of Hazrat Baba Tajuddin, which symbolizes the universal message of love and tolerance given by the Sufi saints. Satnam Singh Sandhu highlighted the importance of Sufi dargahs across India, which serve as symbols of spirituality for people of different religions, including Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Jains, Christians, Buddhists and Parsis. Eminent personalities on stage included IMF Founder, Himani Sood; Haji Syed Salman Chishti, Gaddi Nashin of Ajmer Sharif Dargah, Pyare Zia Khan, President of Hazrat Baba Tajuddin Trust; Vice President Dr. Surendra Jichkar, Secretary, Taj Ahmed Raja, Trustees, Haji Farooq Bhai Bavla, Burzin Randelia, Haji Imran Khan, Gajendrapal Singh Lohia, and Mustafa Topiwala participated. Ahead of the summit, the Indian Minorities Foundation paid tribute to Hazrat Baba Tajuddin by offering chadar and flowers at his sacred shrine, as a mark of respect and reverence for his teachings of compassion and harmony. During the program, the attendees collectively prayed for unity, peace and harmony across India and the well-being and good health of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Tajabad Trust President Pyare Zia Khan praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative to set up the Sufi corridor, which aims to connect Sufi temples across the country. He lauded Prime Minister Modi as the first leader to address this important aspect of cultural and spiritual heritage. The Nagpur Sadbhavana Summit, ‘Ek Bharat – Shrestha Bharat’ was a poignant reminder of the power of unity, compassion and mutual respect in promoting a harmonious society. As the nation continues its journey towards progress and inclusivity, such initiatives play an important role in promoting a culture of peace and understanding.
