President Draupadi Murmu visited Takht Shri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib Gurudwara on Wednesday (18 October) during her 3-day stay in Bihar. Let us tell you that earlier on 28 March 2017, Draupadi Murmu had come to Patna Sahib Gurudwara as the then Governor of Jharkhand. At that time, the then Jathedar Giani Iqbal Singh had also honored the Governor by giving her a Siropa.

The Gurudwara Langar Management Committee has also prepared a special language for the President. It includes two types of sweets and vegetables. Apart from this, arrangements have been made for dal, rice, and salad. The administration is continuously working fast in Patna Sahib regarding security. A day before the arrival of the President, security checks are being conducted at the main places in Takht Sahib. Madam President will depart from Raj Bhavan to Takht Sahib at around 4:20 pm on 18 October. During this, Her Excellency will stay at Takht Sahib for 40 minutes. Along with paying obeisance at Darbar Sahib and seeing Guru Maharaj’s life, Her Excellency will also be given the symbol of Guru Maharaj by the Managing Committee. Her Excellency will leave the Gurughar at 05:00 pm. It is worth noting that parking has been closed in the Gurudwara since Tuesday due to the President’s program. S. Paswan said that only the vehicles of the officials who will come will be allowed to be parked in the parking lot.

On the first day of Draupadi Murmu’s visit, i.e. Wednesday, she will land at Patna Airport at 11:25. From the airport, she will leave directly for Samrat Ashok Convention Center. Where she will inaugurate the fourth agricultural road map. After that, she will leave for the Gurudwara at 4:00 pm. Let us tell you that she will stay here for about 40 minutes. On the second day of the tour, on October 19, she will attend the convocation ceremony at Motihari Central University and Patna AIIMS.
