On the occasion of 78th Independence Day, Resident Commissioner Shri Ajay Mishra hoisted the flag at Uttarakhand Sadan in New Delhi. He also administered the oath of national unity to the officers, personnel and police personnel present.
Resident Commissioner Shri Ajay Mishra congratulated the officers, personnel and police personnel present on Independence Day on this occasion and said that 15th August is an occasion to express gratitude to the great freedom fighters and brave martyrs who sacrificed their all for the independence of India. He also saluted the freedom fighters, army personnel who made the supreme sacrifice in the defense of the country and the immortal martyrs of the formation of Uttarakhand state. The Resident Commissioner also distributed sweets and fruits to the officers, personnel and police personnel present.

On this occasion, Media Coordinator Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Madan Mohan Satti, Senior Medical Officer of Uttarakhand Sadan Dr. Prasun Sheoran, Special Executive Officer of Uttarakhand Sadan Shri Ranjan Mishra, Administrative Officer Shri Geeta Kala along with all the officers and employees of Uttarakhand working in Delhi were present.
