14 illegal domestic gas cylinders seized in Meghnagar

Jhabua Rahim Sherani Under the campaign to get rid of adulteration in Madhya Pradesh, a joint team of officials of Weights and Measures Department, Food Safety Department and Food Civil and Supply Department has been formed in Jhabua under the direction of Collector Ms. Tanvi Hooda. When the team took action in Meghnagar and Rambhapur and was found to be using illegal domestic gas cylinder, the cylinder was seized by the Junior Supply Officer and the case was registered. In which 10 domestic gas tanks from Navkar Sweets, 01 from Hotel Palash and 03 from Hotel Shri Ramashray Rambhapur Road, Meghnagar, thus a total of 14 tanks have been seized. A total of 04 samples of ghee, gram flour and sev have been tested by the Food Safety Officer after inspecting hotels and grocery shops, while a notice has been issued to Navkar Sweets Meghnagar.

Besides, the Food Safety Officer inspected the Government Fair Price Shop located at Pipalkhunta and the double fortified salt being distributed to the general public was also tested on the spot, in which the correct quantity of iodine and iron was found. Under the Eat Right activity, the kitchen and store room operated in Hanuman Temple Pipalkhunta was also inspected. It was told by the Food Safety Officer that on the lines of Prasad of Omkareshwar and Ujjain Mahakaleshwar Temple, efforts are being made to get Bhog Certificate for the kitchen of Pipalkhunta Temple of Jhabua. During this, Food Safety Officer Rahul Singh Alava and Junior Supply Officer Dharmendra Singh were present.
