There are very few such organizations in the field of social service that have completed 50 years of their establishment, His Excellency Outgoing President Shri Ram Nath Kovind.Shri Ram Nath Kovind honors the rare social service organizations that celebrate 50 years of establishment, highlighting their dedication and impact.

The national function organized on the commencement of the Golden Jubilee of Mahavir International was held on 7 July at the Manekshaw Center. Veer Samdaria Fateh Chand, Director of Media and Publicity of Mahavir International, said that as the chief guest, His Excellency Outgoing President Shri Ram Nath Kovind said in his address that the Social Service Organizations that move forward with the spirit of service are not affected by any kind of political, social and religious circumstances, the only objective of such organizations is to contribute to human service, social service, and nation building. This journey of fifty years of Mahavir International is a unique achievement in itself, he congratulated all the heroes of the organization. Impressed by the service activities and organizational structure of the organization, he proposed to join the organization – International President Veer Anil Jain gave membership to Shri Kovind ji by putting the lapel pin of the organization. The special guests of the function were Dr. Ashok Agarwal, President, International Vaishya Federation and Member, Central Pollution Control Board, Government of India, and Dr. Balram Bhargava, Director General (Retd.), ICMR. After lighting lamps and prayers, the Golden Jubilee celebrations were inaugurated with the presentation of the cake, Mahavir International Virtual Centre-Misri, and Golden Jubilee “Logo”. International General Secretary Veer Ashok Goyal welcomed all the dignitaries and International President Veer CA Anil Jain shared the theme and vision of the program. In the dignified presence of His Excellency outgoing President Shri Ram Nath Kovind, special guests Dr. Ashok Agarwal and Dr. Balram Bhargava released the book “The Essence Within Decoding the Purpose of Existence” published by the organization and written by Veer Sapan Kumar Vardhan. Jaipur Foot (BMVSS), Mrs. Anila Kothari, Senior Vice President, Bhagawan Mahavir Cancer Hospital and Research Center, Jaipur, Mr. Amod Kumar Kanth, Founder General Secretary “Prayas JAC Society” and Mr. Devendra Gupta, Founder Ladli Foundation were honored by giving mementos for their excellent work in social service by the special guests. In the first session of the program, former International President of the organization Veer Ranjit Singh Kumat, IAS (Retd.), Veer Shanti Lal Kawad, Veer Vijay Singh Bapna and Veer Shanti Kumar Jain, IPS (Retd.) graced the dais in the third session of the event.

A panel discussion on “Future of NGOs in India’s social sector” was held in two phases. In these panel discussions – Mr. Rajesh Tiwari, Director General, Indian CSR Centre, Mr. Amod Kumar Kanth, Founder General Secretary, Prayas JAC Society, Mr. Uday Shankar Singh, CEO, Vishwa Yuvak Kendra, Mr. Sudarshan Suchi, CEO, Bal Raksha Bharat, Ms. Anupama Dutta, Head Policy Research and Advocacy, HelpAge India, Dr. Harish Vashisht, ED, Credibility Alliance, CA Anjani K. Sharma, Co-Founder, and Director, Saga, Mr. Harsh Jaitley, CEO, Vani, Mr. Devendra Gupta, Founder, Ladli Foundation participated in this discussion. Mr. Mahendra Singhi, Director and Advisor, Dalmia Cement Bharat Ltd. was present as the pride of the event. In the last session after lunch, Mahavir International Diamond Patron Fellow and Mahavir International Gold Fellow members of the organization were honored. A short play on environmental protection titled Anand Ke Pal Hamare Sang Sun-2150 was staged by Mr. Anil Sharma and his team. In the end, International Treasurer Veer Sudhir Jain expressed his gratitude.
