Temperature is increasing day by day in many states including Madhya Pradesh’s Jhabua Barwani, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and Maharashtra, Delhi. Extreme heat continues to wreak havoc in many states. Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warning in many states of North India due to rising temperature and heat wave. ‘Red alert’ has been issued. The Meteorological Department said that this week the maximum temperature can reach 48 degrees Celsius in many states of India including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.

The maximum temperature in the capital Delhi was recorded at 44.4 degrees Celsius. This is three degrees more than this season’s average. IMD said that due to extreme heat and heat wave, red alert has been issued in Delhi. Also told that the sky will be clear. Heat wave will prevail at some places. Strong winds can blow at a speed of 25-35 km per hour in many areas of Delhi-NCR.

Severe heat wave will last for 7 days…

The Meteorological Department has predicted severe heat wave to continue in Delhi for the next seven days. These days the maximum temperature is expected to be between 44 to 47 degrees Celsius. In the seven-day forecast, a red alert has been issued from Thursday to Saturday. It has been advised to take extreme care of vulnerable people due to heat wave. It has been advised to cover the body completely before leaving the house during the day.

Alert of heavy rain in these districts of Bihar…

These days the people of Bihar are getting some respite from the heat. A drop in temperature is being seen in many districts of Bihar. Also, rain with strong winds has been predicted in many districts. The local meteorological department said that there may be rain in many districts of Bihar including Nalanda, Buxar, Purnia, Madhepura, Kishanganj and Jehanabad.

Fire is raining in Maharashtra-Gujarat also…

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heat wave in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh till May 25 (Saturday). Along with this, there is an alert of heat wave in many parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh till Saturday. Heat wave has been predicted in many districts of Maharashtra. Also, the temperature is expected to remain above 45 degrees in many districts of Maharashtra.
