Superintendent of Police Ujjain is holding a meeting of all the subdivisions in the coming days to review the crimes.

Sub-divisional officers and police station in-charges of Nagda, Jeevjiganj and Kotwali sections were present in the meeting.

During this meeting, strict instructions were given for complaints related to CM Helpline, cancellation of bail of habitual accused and those expelled from the district, search for missing children, illegal liquor, illegal arms, illegal recovery, gambling, betting, goons, miscreants, accused of cow slaughter and smuggling, and sending them to jail for non-bailable offences.

The officers who showed negligence and indifference towards the instructions given by senior officers were punished by stopping their salary increment and imposing cash fine.

The officers who performed their duties by planning as per the instructions of senior officers were rewarded with cash.

Gulshan Paruthi | Ujjain | The Superintendent of Police, Ujjain is reviewing the work of different subdivisions for the coming days for review of pending cases, quick resolution of crimes, curbing anti-social elements/activities and strengthening the peace, law and order and security system of the district. A meeting was held today on 02-06-24 in Police Control Room, Ujjain. Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Mr. Nitesh Bhargav, Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Jayant Rathore (City East), Sub-Divisional Officers of the section and Police Station Incharges were present in the said meeting.

Ujjain Superintendent of Police gave comprehensive instructions to maintain security/law and order in the upcoming festivals, processions and celebrations in a simple and peaceful manner, and to maintain smooth traffic system in the city. Along with timely resolution of CM Helpline, CCTNS, property related crimes, burglary, theft, vehicle theft, crimes related to women, strict instructions were also given regarding keeping a constant watch on the goons, miscreants, district exiles, history sheeters of the police station area and taking due preventive action if found active, cancellation of bail of habitual accused, recovery of missing boy/girl, execution of warrant and curbing the activities of anti-social activities like illegal sale of liquor and drugs, illegal arms, gambling, betting, people involved in cow slaughter by running mafia campaign and taking legal action against them.

The instructions given earlier to all the police station in-charges present to identify 100 criminals active in their police station areas and keep a constant watch on them were also reviewed. The police station in-charge and beat in-charge were instructed to do regular checking of the accused who have been banned from the district. If the presence of the accused is found on checking, then instructions were issued to suspend the officer/employee and take other disciplinary action. All the police station in-charges were directed to ensure that the loudspeakers at religious/public places are within the prescribed limit in compliance with the rules issued by the Madhya Pradesh government and to take strict action against meat sellers in the open and such auto/e-rickshaw drivers who extort money illegally.

During the review, action was initiated to punish the following police station in-charges as they did not take any interest in resolving the pending cases :-

1. Inspector Shri Deenbandhu Singh Tomar, Police Station Incharge Birlagram – Action to stop salary increment.
2. K.W. Inspector Shri Dhansingh Narwaya, Police Station Incharge Nagda – 10,000/- fine.
3. K.W. Inspector Mrs. Leela Solanki, Police Station Incharge Kotwali – 1,000/- fine.
4. Inspector Shri Jagdish Goyal, Police Station Incharge Bhairugarh – 500/- fine.

Apart from this, the following police station in-charges and their respective staff were rewarded with cash prize for taking interest in work and resolving pending cases at an excellent level :-

1. Inspector Shri Ram Singh Bhamor, Police Station Incharge Unhel and each Investigating Officer of his police station will be given a reward of Rs. 500.
2. C.W. Inspector Smt. Madhubala Rathore, Police Station Incharge Kharakuwa and each Investigating Officer of her police station will be given a reward of Rs. 500.
3. C.W. Inspector Shri Narendra Bahadur Singh Parihar, Police Station Incharge Jiwajiganj and each Investigating Officer of his police station will be given a reward of Rs. 500.

Ultimately, today’s meeting was focused on controlling crimes and criminals and creating a safe, peaceful and fear-free environment for the citizens by ensuring proper law and order.
