Samalkha, 18 November 2024: “Everything we see or experience in this world is transient. None of these things can be considered eternal truth. Just as the day fades and night follows, and after the night ends, the day begins again, in the same way, it is an illusion to consider any object or substance as permanent because the true reality exists only in the formless Supreme Being, who is called by various names. By adopting this ever-consistent truth, we can undoubtedly free ourselves from all kinds of illusions,” stated Satguru Mata Ji blessing thousands of devotees present on the auspicious occasion of the three-day Sant Samagam held in Samalkha, on Sunday night.
Satguru Mata Ji further explained that we often remain limited by our thoughts and habits. This was illustrated with an example: just as someone may limit their perspective of water sources to a glass, a bucket, a pond, or the ocean, in the same way, we need to expand our thinking and understanding in life. If we, like a frog in a well, take our limited thinking to be the truth, we may miss out on the true and vast nature of life.
Changing our habits and recognizing our weaknesses to overcome them is also a form of expansion. If we know a habit is wrong but still cannot give it up, then we need self-reflection. It is essential to develop our thinking and habits in a positive direction. Often, our thinking is limited to our own benefit, but if our thoughts also include the welfare of others, it will be a true symbol of expansion. We need to make our perspective flexible and embrace others’ thoughts with an open heart. Mata Ji explained through a story how stubborn thinking can keep us away from reality and create distance in relationships. The exchange of ideas and the ability to learn new things in life makes us spiritually stronger.
Earlier, Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji shared his thoughts, stating that participating in the 77th Samagam is a unique opportunity for saints and devotees. This Samagam provides depth and expansion to life. The grace and teachings of the True Master have made human existence limitless and glorious. True self-interest lies in recognizing one's existence. The True Master teaches that to understand the meaning of life, we must go beyond our own self-interest and serve humanity. The True Master explains that devotion is not just a means but the ultimate goal. When devotion becomes the center of life, worldly pleasures become secondary. The spirituality imparted by the True Master expands our thinking, our vision, our love, service, dedication, compassion, and other divine qualities. Coming into the congregation, receiving Brahm Gyan, and listening to the words of saints broadens our thinking. When we connect with the formless, we learn to embrace every color of life while remaining detached from it. This formless truth is present at all times and in every situation. By recognizing it, every individual can expand their life in the right direction.
It is noteworthy that the former Chief Minister of Haryana, Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda, visited the Samagam and received blessings by meeting Satguru Mata Ji and Nirankari Rajpita Ji.
