Strict action on negligence of private hospitals – action against those not submitting dengue report, licenses of those not taking fire NOC will be canceled.

10 October 2024 – Divisional Commissioner Shri Manoj Khatri has given instructions to take strict action against private hospitals and nursing homes for not sending dengue reports. He also clarified that dengue should be tested only by ELISA method. Strict action will be taken against the concerned institutions on its violation.

He gave these instructions in the inter-departmental coordination meeting held at the Divisional Commissioner's office. In the meeting, the health department, fertilizer distribution, nursing homes not taking fire NOC and other important issues were reviewed.

The Divisional Commissioner also ordered that the process of canceling the licenses of nursing homes which have not obtained fire NOC should be completed expeditiously by issuing final notice to them.
