Mahesh Dhoundiyal - Delhi
On the 92nd Foundation Day of the Harijan Sevak Sangh, Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj blessed the Sadbhavana Conference held on September 24, 2024. Blessing everyone, Mataji said, “A human being truly becomes human when they rise above all discrimination, see the divine in everyone, and selflessly serve all without any desire for personal gain.”
On this occasion, the President of Harijan Sevak Sangh, Dr. Shankar Kumar Sanyal, and Vice President, Shri Naresh Yadav, warmly welcomed and honored Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji by presenting them with traditional shawls and cotton scarves. A small token of remembrance, a model of a spinning wheel (charkha) inspired by the ideals of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, who founded this institution, was also presented to Satguru Mata Ji by the Sangh.
The event featured a beautiful welcome song and a Saraswati Vandana performed by students of the Harijan Sevak Sangh. Children from the Nirankari Institute of Music and Arts (NIMA) also added to the soulful atmosphere with melodious renditions of Mahatma Gandhi's favorite hymn, “Vaishnav Jan,” along with other devotional songs.
Dr. Sanyal, while reflecting on the guidance of Mahatma Gandhi and Kasturba Gandhi, highlighted the activities of the Sangh and expressed gratitude to Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj for embodying the philosophy of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" (The world is one family) through the principles of the Sant Nirankari Mission. He also praised the Mission's continuous efforts in social upliftment.
Nirankari Rajpita Ji also blessed the gathering, stating that once one attains the realization of God through the True Master (Satguru), they begin to feel the pain of others as their own and, through this empathy, embrace service free from ego.
Towards the conclusion of the event, the Secretary of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, Shri Joginder Sukhija, extended a vote of thanks to all members of the Harijan Sevak Sangh and special guests who attended from across India. He also extended a warm invitation to everyone for the upcoming 77th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam in November.
