Sarangpur: Journalist shot dead in front of his son

Three bike riders shot dead a local journalist on Hospital Road in Sarangpur of Rajgarh district. The incident took place at 9 pm on Tuesday night. Salman Khan (35) was sitting on a scooty near the hospital. Meanwhile, three people arrived and shot him close to his temple. Salman's 9-year-old son was also with him at the time of the incident. Hearing the gunshot, a huge crowd gathered at the spot. Police was immediately informed. Police reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital. Where the doctor declared him dead. Police was told that the bike riders shot Salman as soon as they saw him, without talking to him. Salman was also attacked last year. At the time when the shooting took place, SDOP Arvind Singh was coming in a car just 50 steps away from the spot. But before he could reach, the bike riders shot him and fled. Police have searched the CCTV footage of the surrounding area. Police say that the accused will be in custody soon. Salman had been working for a daily newspaper and YouTube channel published from Indore for a long time.
