Keeping in view the arrival of the Honorable President in Ujjain, an intensive checking campaign was conducted for security arrangements in the city.

• Surprise checking was done in all the hotels, lodges, Dharamshala, and dhabas of the city, entry of visitors/travelers and checking of identity cards in registers.
• Operators were instructed to keep CCTV cameras on 24×7 and inform the concerned police station, control room, and dial 100 about suspicious persons/objects/vehicles.

On the instructions of the Superintendent of Police, Ujjain, keeping in view the proposed arrival of the Honorable President, checking was done in places like hotels, lodges, dhabas, Dharamshala, inns, camps, rain shelters, etc. for security arrangements in the city. The details of passengers/visitors were checked in the registers and strict checking of suspicious objects was done and it was explained to keep the CCTV cameras on 24×7, not to allow any visitor to stay without an ID card and to get information about any suspicious person/vehicle/object/person, to dial 100, Police Control Room 7049119202 or inform the nearest police station.
