Corporation Commissioner Aman Vaishnav inspected Tighra, the only reservoir supplying drinking water to Gwalior, on Monday along with the officials of the Municipal Corporation and Water Resources Department. During the inspection, he saw the Tighra reservoir and water treatment plant. He told the officials present there that in those areas where water does not reach the last end due to less filling of the tank, there should be a system of supplying water by filling the tank fully and also instructed them to make an action plan for regular water supply in the city.
On Monday, Corporation Commissioner Aman Vaishnav suddenly reached Tighra reservoir and inspected the dam. During the inspection, he saw the work of repairing the leakage in the Tighra reservoir. The Corporation Commissioner told the officials that the leakage of Tighra should be stopped completely. So that the dam remains safe, as well as wastage of water can be stopped. After this, Corporation Commissioner Shri Vaishnav also inspected the drinking water line laid from Tighra to the water treatment plant and the water treatment plant. After this, the Municipal Commissioner understood the entire process of filtering and purifying the raw water supplied from Tighra. Municipal Commissioner Shri Vaishnav instructed that at many places in the city, the drinking water supply is not reaching the end of the water line. Therefore, this time such an action plan should be prepared so that the water from Tighra reaches the end of the pipeline so that the general public can use it.
