Public dialogue to be held on International Thalassemia Day on 8th May.

Tahir Kamaal siddiqui | Indore | Madhya Pradesh Thalassemia Welfare Society continuously runs awareness programs. In this connection, International Thalassemia Day will be celebrated with a conceptual event on 8th May by the society Madhya Pradesh Thalassemia Welfare Society. Madhya Pradesh Thalassemia Welfare Society State President Chandrashekhar Sharma and Secretary Ms. Vandana Sharma informed that a public dialogue program will be held on May 8 at 11:00 am in the Indore Press Club Auditorium on the topic of Thalassemia prevention and treatment. The next day on May 9, medicines will be given to registered children suffering from thalassemia.

Senior doctors will also address the public dialogue program on International Thalassemia Day. In which hematologist Dr. Akshay Lahoti of MY Hospital, pediatrician Dr. Prachi Chaudhary and cancer specialist Dr. S.S. Nair will express their views on the information, solution and treatment of thalassemia and the nuances related to it. The regional public dialogue program will be inaugurated on May 8 in the special presence of Additional DCP Crime Rajesh Dandotia, Devvrat Bainji, social worker Amit Jain, social worker Malasingh Thakur, Pankaj Fatehchandani.

The program will be presided over by Dr. Sharad Pandit, former Joint Director of the Health Department.

Will give Mamta Award to 4 people.

Mahesh Sharma, Santosh Kumar and Sanjay Tiwari will be honored with Mamta Award 2024 for their remarkable contribution to the children suffering from Thalassemia.
