The Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti has released the first list of educators to be honored with the National Teacher Award.

According to Vijay Gaur, President of the Samiti, prominent names on the list include Dr. Krishna Kumar Pandey (Sharda University); Dr. Saurabh Dahiya and Dr. Madhu Gupta (Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University); Dr. Ravi Kant, Dr. Bindu Ranjan, and Jyoti (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University); Dr. Oshin Yadav and Pratibha Saini (Lingaya's Lalita Devi Institute of Management and Sciences - LLDIMS); Dr. Sulakshana Mukherjee (Sushant University); Dr. Sharvender (Satyawati College - Evening, Delhi University); Supriya Raj (Basic Education Council, Government of Uttar Pradesh); Jyoti (Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies); Prof. (Dr.) Monica Kulshreshtha, Prof. (Dr.) Geetali Banerjee, Prof. (Dr.) Renu Sharma, and Prof. (Dr.) Mohita Mathur (Institute of Innovation in Technology and Management); Dr. Parminder Kaur (Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, Delhi University); Dr. Chandni Aswal (Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Delhi University); Dr. Tina (School of Legal Studies, Apeejay Stya University); and Dr. Avneet Kaur and Dr. Sanjay Pandey (Mata Sundri College for Women, Delhi University).
Samiti President Vijay Gaur stated that this grand National Teacher's Day event will take place on September 4, 2026, at the Auditorium of the NDMC Convention Centre, Jai Singh Road, Sansad Marg, New Delhi. He further mentioned that a delegation from the Samiti met with Ms. Raksha Khadse, Union Minister of State (Youth Affairs), Government of India, invited her as the Chief  Guest and briefed her on the outline of the entire program.
