Women observed a waterless fast on Karva Chauth, looking at the moon and praying for their husbands' long life.

On the auspicious occasion of Karva Chauth, married women in the city and surrounding areas observed a waterless fast for the long life of their husbands and the happiness and prosperity of their families.

After remaining hungry and thirsty throughout the day, women adorned themselves in the evening and performed puja wearing traditional attire.

After seeing the moon at night, women broke their fast by taking water from their husbands' hands.

Karva Chauth prayers were performed in temples at various places, and markets remained lively throughout the day.

Women were seen decorating puja thali and wishing each other Happy Karva Chauth.

An atmosphere of devotion and love prevailed throughout the city on this occasion.
