Demand for strict enforcement of the no-entry rule for trucks

The series of road accidents in the city continues unabated. A tragic accident on Tuesday in Shipra reminded residents of the Airport Road accident. The frequent truck accidents have terrified residents. Therefore, the no-entry rule for trucks should be strictly enforced. Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress State Secretary Sarfaraz Ansari made this demand, calling for concrete steps to curb truck accidents. He urged the administration not to act under pressure from truck organizations and to strictly enforce the no-entry rule. He also demanded that the RTO inspect the fitness of trucks as well as modified trucks, which, with their extra length and width, are becoming a menace to traffic. Congress leader Sarfaraz Ansari also demanded that the speed of all vehicles plying recklessly in the city be controlled. He also demanded action be taken to regulate the speed of transport buses running from Indore to Ujjain, Dewas, Mhow, and Pithampur. Sarfraz Ansari asked, "Who is responsible for the continued deaths from truck accidents?" Mr. Ansari said, "These tragic accidents have once again raised serious questions about the city's traffic system and road safety."
