The East India Title Boxing Championship: 2025, organized by the Indian Amateur Boxing Federation (IABF), concluded with great pomp and grandeur in Ranchi today.

Hundreds of male and female boxers from four states—Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, and West Bengal—participated in this prestigious competition.

West Bengal emerges as overall champion, Jharkhand sweeps gold medals:

West Bengal performed brilliantly and won the overall championship trophy, while Jharkhand players created history by winning gold medals in several categories.

Highlights from the Closing Ceremony:

National President of the Indian Amateur Boxing Federation, Dr. Rakesh Mishra, was the chief guest at the closing ceremony. He presented trophies, cash prizes, and mementos to the winning players.

At the ceremony, special guest Mr. Dhingra encouraged all the players, thanked all the referees and judges, and wished the players a bright future.

The event was successfully concluded thanks to the special contributions of Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, President of the East India Amateur Boxing Federation, and Mr. Rajiv Banerjee, Secretary.

Both expressed their gratitude to the teams from all the states, coaches, doctors, and judges. During the closing session, the organizers specifically thanked the Jharkhand government for providing the stadium and other necessary facilities for the competition. All sports enthusiasts present at the event praised the players' passion and sportsmanship.

The program concluded with the national anthem, which filled the entire stadium with patriotic fervor. Afterward, all the players took their trophies and medals and departed for their destinations.
