On the second day of Navratri, the Garba festival being held at the state's renowned pilgrimage site, Shri Vaneshwar Maruti Nandan Kutir Hanuman Temple, offered a unique glimpse of the region's rural traditions. The second day of this sacred festival of worshipping the Mother Goddess began with a Maha Aarti of the Mother Goddess and Shri Hanuman and traditional Garba.
An orchestra group from Gujarat, with emotional Gujarati and traditional bhajans, compelled people to come to the Garba pandal.
On this occasion, senior members of the organizing committee and social workers, Mr. Suresh Chandra Puranmal Jain and Rajesh Rinku Jain, honored the city's journalists and expressed their gratitude for elevating the event.
In his address, Mr. Jain said that it is impossible for him to repay the recognition that this event has received in Madhya Pradesh and across India through journalists.
He praised the journalists' contribution to the event. Mr. Suresh Jain, Puranmal Jain, Mrs. Seema Jain, and their families honored young girls from rural areas performing traditional Garba. Appealing to the people of the district, urban, and rural areas, Jackie Jain, a young member of the organizing committee, urged everyone to participate in the festival of worshipping the Mother Goddess in large numbers, to come here daily to perform Garba, and to mark their presence at the event. The temple's Mahant, Mr. Dilip Das Ji Maharaj, explained that beautiful arrangements have been made here, including separate seating for men and women, as well as parking. The temple is also being adorned with attractive decorations every day, and the venue's electrical decorations are a sight to behold. Traditional Garba performers from Baroda, Ahmedabad, and Indore, Gujarat, who arrived for the event, are performing Garba in devotion, dressed in different costumes, and with various expressions, drawing large crowds to witness them. While the organizers are enthusiastic about the event, the enthusiasm of the local people also seems to be reaching its peak. The women members of the organizing committee, Mrs. Seema Suresh Jain and Mrs. Neeta Rinku Jain have specially requested the mothers and sisters to attend the event and bring their family members, relatives and acquaintances in maximum numbers and participate in this important devotional festival.
