The Patalpani-Kala Kund Heritage Journey became a confluence of nature, tradition, and journalism.

A heritage train journey became memorable for media personnel when a team of approximately 125 journalists from the State Press Club, Madhya Pradesh, participated in the heritage train journey from Patalpani to Kala Kund. This journey was organized for the second consecutive year. The journey was not limited to mere entertainment, but became a wonderful confluence of heritage, culture, and intimacy.

The journalists from the State Press Club, Madhya Pradesh, along with their families, enjoyed this journey. Nestled in the lap of nature, the valleys of Patalpani and Kala Kund not only enjoyed a walk but also had the opportunity to understand the heritage sites up close. The interaction and interaction among the journalists during the journey made the atmosphere even more cordial.

Upon reaching the Kala Kund station, the Sarpanch, Secretary, and villagers warmly welcomed the media personnel by applying tilak (a sacred mark on the forehead). Receiving the blessings of 101-year-old Saint Gauravanand Saraswati Maharaj at a special reception held at the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple complex was an unforgettable moment for all. Praveen Khariwal, President of the State Press Club, Madhya Pradesh, presented a memento to Maharajshree and performed a special puja to receive his blessings.

At the ceremony, Sarpanch Shiv Prasad Dubey, Secretary Ishwar Kohli, former Sarpanch Mukesh Yadav, Hanumanji Temple priest Kamal Goswami, and several other prominent villagers welcomed the fellow journalists with garlands and flowers. On this occasion, Girdhari Babariwal, former District Panchayat member, was specially felicitated and honored for his contributions to social service.

At the event, Praveen Khariwal, President of the State Press Club, Madhya Pradesh, urged public representatives and villagers to make joint efforts for the development of Kala Kund. He stated that the State Press Club, Madhya Pradesh, and the Kala Kund public representatives would jointly discuss with the Collector, Indore, to ensure prompt resolution of local problems.

At the end of the trip, a meal at the railway canteen provided everyone with a taste of the traditional hospitality of Malwa. The Malviya cuisine, served amidst a drizzle of rain, left a lasting impression of taste and warmth that fellow journalists will long remember. BJP leader and former district council member Girdhari Babriwal expressed his gratitude.
