A fierce battle between Laxman and Meghnad took place on the Luv Kush stage.

Digital sound, the trumpeting of an elephant, and the roar of a lion were used to awaken Kumbhakaran from his eternal sleep.

Arjun Kumar, president of the world-renowned Luv Kush Ramleela Committee held at the Red Fort grounds, stated that Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar observed the Lord Shri Ram's leela at the venue, sought blessings from Lord Shri Ram, and extended heartfelt greetings to all Ram devotees for Dussehra in advance.

Leela president Arjun Kumar stated that the leela began with Ganesh Vandana, and the leela included the slaying of Kumbhakaran, the battle between Laxman and Meghnad, the slaying of Meghnad, Sulochana's request for Ravana's permission to ask for her head, Sulochana's arrival at Ram's camp, and her return with her husband's head.

According to Arjun Kumar, all the Ram devotees sitting on the stage applauded the powerful performance of Kumbhakaran, a heavyset 131-kilogram, loud-voiced former mayor and BJP leader, Jathedar Avtar Singh. To awaken Kumbhakarna from his eternal sleep, eight tracks of sound were played using stereo digital sound, earth-shaking sounds, the trumpeting of an elephant, the roar of a lion, more than a hundred pots were broken, he was awakened by arrows and spears, and the sound of drums and nagada. He was given 120 kg of sweets, food, and hundreds of liters of water to eat.

For the Dussehra festival at the Red Fort grounds, the effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarna, and Meghnad have been made very attractive. When an arrow is shot at Ravana's effigy, nectar will fall from his navel, his eyes will roll, tears of blood will flow from his eyes, swords will be seen swinging in his hands, ten garlands of different colors will be seen around Ravana's neck, and the effigy will be burnt while chanting "Hey Ram, Hey Ram" from his mouth. Arrangements have begun for installing the effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarna, and Meghnad at the same venue.

After the Leela, all the office bearers of the committee including General Secretary Subhash Goyal, Chairman Pawan Gupta, Senior Vice President Satyabhushan Jain, Saurav Gupta, Sandeep Bhutani, Treasurer Ankur Goyal, Leela Minister Praveen Singhal, Rajesh Verma, Gaurav Suri, Rajkumar Gupta, Viru Singhi, Lokesh Bansal etc. honoured all the guests and the Leela concluded with the Aarti and Charan Vandana of Lord Shri Ram.
