Indore Division's 43rd Substation Energized Under RDSS

Under the government's significant Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS), the Indore division's 43rd 33/11 kV power substation was energized with full protocol at Mathmath in Petlawad tehsil of Jhabua. Costing approximately 2.85 crore rupees, this substation will benefit thousands of consumers in rural and agricultural areas across four panchayat areas. Anoop Kumar Singh, Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh West Zone Electricity Distribution Company, Indore, stated that this important Mathmath substation, energized during the government's Seva Parv celebrations, will particularly benefit consumers in the tribal areas. With this grid, five substations have been created in the Jhabua power circle: Semliya, Rajla, Rambhapur, and Badaguda. Apart from Jhabua, 11 substations are ready and operational in Indore district, 4 in Dhar, 8 in Khandwa, 4 in Barwani, 5 in Khargone and 6 in Burhanpur. Managing Director Anoop Kumar Singh said that Jhabua's Superintendent Engineer DS Rajput, Executive Engineer Mahendra Panwar and Sukhdev Mandloi played a commendable role in preparing the Mathmath substation.
