On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, the State Press Club, Madhya Pradesh, organized a one-day Garba Festival, "Shakti and Devotion," for media personnel and their families. Renowned singer Sarika Singh, from Mumbai, was the chief guest. A large number of writers played dandiya and performed aarti to Mata Rani.

At the inauguration of the festival, held at the Abhinav Kala Samaj auditorium, Chief Guest Sarika Singh said that Navratri is a significant festival of Indian culture, one that not only holds religious significance but also imparts the message of strength, devotion, and unity. Each form of the Mother Goddess represents different powers and qualities. This festival teaches us that strength, courage, and patience are required to overcome every challenge in life.

Traditional dances like Garba and Dandiya add to the colorful atmosphere of Navratri nights. These dances are not just a source of entertainment, but also convey a message of togetherness, unity, and joy.
