Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Gwalior organized Coffee with ICC - Sip, Share and Support session

Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Gwalior's Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) organized an awareness session titled "Coffee with ICC - Sip, Share and Support" on September 13 at 10:30 am in the New Conference Hall (NCH). The purpose of this program was to make the faculty and staff members aware of the POSH Act and the role of ICC in ensuring a safe and respectful workplace.

During the session, role plays were presented in which workplace related situations and their solutions were demonstrated. The program was conducted by Assistant Professor Sweety Dubey.

The ICC panel comprised of Dr. Rakhi Singh Chauhan (Chairman), Dr. Deep Shikha Chavan (Coordinator), Dr. Hariom Awasthi (Member), Assistant Professor Tanya Mathur (Member), Ms. Deepanka Rathore (Member) and Ms. Priya Tomar (Member).

Dr. Rakhi Singh Chauhan (Chairman) expressed her views and said, “A safe environment at the workplace is not only created by policies but also by the collective responsibility of all of us. The purpose of the Internal Complaints Committee is not only to redress complaints but also to promote a culture where every person can work without any fear and discrimination. The progress of the institution is possible only when there is a sense of respect, equality and trust in it.”

The panel, while answering the questions of the moderator and the audience, emphasized the importance of awareness, sensitivity and timely filing of complaints.
